The PaMu Quiet Mini truly wireless earbuds have a stem design, with customizable controls, good active noise canceling, and decent audio performance compared to most other brands in the market. These budget truly wireless earbuds are more worthy than every penny you spend
Dual Master Technology
5 hours of battery life and 15 hours only from the charging case
The PaMu Quiet Mini has a stencil design with touch-capacitive controls on either bud. There are three color options; black, white, and blue. Each bud only weighs approximately 5g. There are three sizes of ear tips which you can use from. The design is comfortable and you can wear these buds without any fatigue on your ear for a longer time.
The buds are made of hard plastic and it comes with a water resistance rating of IPX4. It is sweat-proof and it can withstand water splashing from any angle. You can use these buds during your high-intensity workout and these would survive a slight drizzle as well. The rating is similar to what you get from the Apple Airpod Pro. However, unlike the Jabra Elite Active 75t, these buds would not survive been submerged in water.

However, all these controls are customizable using the PaMu mobile application. This adds more value for these buds and it is not something you would get with the Sony WF 1000XM3’s ANC buds.
The PaMu Quiet Mini comes with a mobile application. The mobile application provides updates and control customization. You can also switch ANC on and off or select Transparency mode using the app. Transparency mode allows the user to be aware of the surroundings, the three mics work in tandem to feed in ambient noises so that you would know what is going on around you.
These buds also have Dual Master Technology. This upgraded transmission technology allows the buds to work independently. Not only you can use one earbud while the other is charging on the case, but you can also use the two earbuds in two separate devices at the same time. This feature is rare in most buds and it is certainly not something you would get with Samsung Galaxy Buds Live which also has Active Noise Cancelling.
These buds also come with a game mode option, which provides immersive gaming sound with extremely low latency.
PaMu Quiet Mini comes with Active Noise Cancelation. However, it is different from what most other truly wireless earbuds which have ANC. These buds use both mics, feed-forward mic, and feedback mic, to deliver better active noise cancelation using Hybrid noise cancelation technology. PaMu guarantees it keeps out frequencies up to 40dB. During testing, we noticed some noises leaking through with ANC switched on. When you look at Sony WF 1000XM3 or the Apple Airpod Pros, which keeps out 90% of ambient noise, these buds keep out approximately 70% of outside noise. Still, it is worth what you pay to get these buds.
Another disappointing area in these buds. The PaMu Quiet Mini only lasts a little more than 4.5 hours with ANC. This is average when it comes truly wireless earbuds. Apple Airpod Pro also has similar battery performance. But if you are looking to get through the day without having to use the charging case, these buds are not for you. However, there is a relief for the user because these buds have quick charging functions where you can add one hour of playback from just 10 minutes on the charging case.
The charging case is lightweight and easy to slide into your pocket. The box includes a carrying punch in which you can put the charging case to prevent it from getting any scratches. The case comes with a USB Type-C charging port and it also supports Qi Wireless charging. This makes life easier for the user who can use their power-sharing smartphone to charge the case in an emergency. However, the case design and finish look very simple and it does not provide any prestige or classiness when it comes to appearance. When you look at the charging case of JBL Tune 225, there is a certain rich look and feel to it, which is absent in this charging case.
The mics do a good job of picking up the voice in crowded noisy areas. Even though you sound more digital, it provides good clarity which is important when it comes to calls. These buds also use the latest Bluetooth version, Bluetooth 5.2. It has much improved features including high quality, low-power audio codec called the Low Complexity Communications Coded (LC3). LC3 provides high quality even at lower data rates than the standard SBC codec used in Bluetooth Classic implementations. It also increases efficiency when it comes to power consumption. This technology provides extremely low latency which is perfect for movies and games.
It was a treat to review the PaMu Quiet Mini because it proved to us that you don’t have to pay big money to enjoy good features and good audio quality nowadays. If you are someone who is not too hung up on brands, who look into the efficient and economical product, the PaMu Quiet Mini is perfect for you.
