The JBL Live 300 TWS truly wireless earbuds come with tap buttons on either earbud. Both buttons come with fixed controls, and those are not interchangeable. The basic controls are available, but all the major controls, such as answering calls and playing/pausing music, are controls from the right earbud. JBL Live 300 TWS comes with JBL Signature audio, which is well balanced. It is a tough job to have a similar output of over-ear headphones on these truly wireless earbuds. However, JBL managed to keep the same audio signature with these truly wireless earbuds, which is fantastic. It is loud, and it is neat, which provides a great audio experience for the listener.
The mids are perfectly balanced, and it is identical to the JBL audio signature. The vocals come through nicely, and the audio is clean. There is good audio separation as well, to give you a great experience while listening to your favourite tracks.
The JBL Live 300 TWS does not come with Active Noise Cancelation. It does have passive noise isolation. It is well above average when you compare with other brands in the truly wireless earbuds market. When we put it to test at 70% volume, it lasted more than 5.5 hours. This is on par with the Apple Airpod Pro.
These JBL Live 300 TWS uses a Lithium-ion Battery of 55mAh. It roughly takes less than two hours to charge these earbuds from zero to full. Another plus is that these support Fast charging as well. A quick ten-minute charge gives one hour of nonstop playback.

The charging case is like what you get with the JBL Reflect Flow earbuds. It is bulky compared to the charging case of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus or the Apple Airpod Pro charging case. This could put off the customer since it would be hard to have this in your pocket all the time.
However, the charging case provides 14 hours of additional playback time, which means you are good to go for a day. The charging case comes with a USB Type-C charging port like many other truly wireless earbuds. It is an upgrade from the JBL reflect Flow, which came with a Micro USB charging port.
Call Quality and Connectivity
The JBL Live 300 TWS uses Bluetooth 5.0 for Connectivity. While testing, there was no drop of Connectivity up to 50ft. There were no lags while streaming high definition videos on Youtube and Netflix. Unfortunately, you cannot pair two devices to the JBL Live 300 TWS; just like the JBL Reflect Flow, you will have to unpair the initial device to connect the new one.
The call quality is decent enough to compete with other truly wireless earbuds in the same price range. It isolates the noises to pick up the voice to make voice calls smooth.

The fact that it has an IPX5 rating, which means these buds are user friendly and durable. Secure fit helps users wear these while jogging or working out in the gym. Touch capacitive controls are responsive, which makes life easy for the user.
However, there are a few concerns. The design is bulky, and the secure fit which fills up your ear canal could cause discomfort in the long run. The battery life is on par with most earbuds in the market, but other earbuds offer higher battery life for the same or less amount of money.
